According to customs statistics, in the first eight months of this year, my country’s imports and exports to other SCO member states (hereinafter referred to as “other member states”) reached 1.73 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 26% (the same below), and the overall growth rate of foreign trade over the same period. It is 15.9 percentage points higher, accounting for 6.3% of the total value of China's foreign trade, an increase of 0.8 percentage points over the same period last year. Among them, exports were 1.07 trillion yuan, an increase of 25.4%; imports were 655.01 billion yuan, an increase of 27%. In August, the import and export volume was 256.79 billion yuan, a monthly record high, an increase of 28.9%. Among them, exports were 161.51 billion yuan, an increase of 25.9%; imports were 95.28 billion yuan, an increase of 34.3%.
Imports of energy products and Agricultural Products increased. In the first 8 months, China imported a total of 117 million tons of crude oil, coal and natural gas from other member countries, an increase of 11.3%; the value was 372.6 billion yuan, an increase of 70.4%, accounting for 56.9% of the total value of China's imports from other member countries. Imports from other member countries increased by 29.8 percent as a whole. During the same period, imported agricultural products amounted to 49.24 billion yuan, an increase of 11%, accounting for 7.5%.

Exports of mechanical and electrical products and labor-intensive products grew rapidly. In the first 8 months, China's exports of mechanical and electrical products to other member countries amounted to 563.96 billion yuan, an increase of 19.7%, accounting for 52.6% of the total value of my exports to other member countries, driving the overall growth of my exports to other member countries by 10.9 percentage points. Among them, the exports of electronic components, automatic data processing equipment and its parts, and electrical equipment were 59.3 billion yuan, 54.27 billion yuan, and 40.66 billion yuan, up 44.7%, 12.8%, and 24.9% respectively. In the same period, the export of labor-intensive products was 204.73 billion yuan, an increase of 24.5%, accounting for 19.1%, driving the overall growth of China's exports to other member states by 4.7 percentage points; the export of basic organic chemicals was 63.1 billion yuan, an increase of 41.7%, accounting for 5.9%, driving an overall increase of 4.7 percentage points. My exports to other member countries as a whole increased by 2.2 percentage points.
